About us
The Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) is the UK's specialist professional association for translators and interpreters. Alongside its national structure, the ITI is also organised into individual language networks, subject networks and regional groups.
The Western Regional Group (WRG) was set up in 1988 and now has members drawn mainly from Bristol, Bath and the surrounding region. Our members cover a wide range of languages, specialisms and services.
Our group aims:
- To promote translation as a profession and membership of the ITI
- To provide a local forum for translators and interpreters
- To support WRG members with a programme of professional and social events
